Off Piste in the Grand Massif..

One of the best features of Samoens and the Grand Massif is the limitless amount of off piste.

We can show you some of the best spots, but you could easily spend a week exploring and never touch a piste. This is uniquely possible as masses of off piste is lift accessed, so there's little need to do any of the marked runs.

Entire powder bowls are to be explored as well as endless technical tree runs towards Les Carroz and Flaine.

There's also 3 jump parks to enjoy, the best being at Flaine, with huge kickers, rails and a boarder cross run. These offer some of the best freestyle boarding conditions going...

You could forget the ski system altogether and head out with our friend Gustav at Alp Tracks into the wilderness. Snow shoeing up - you can have an entire untouched descent of powder to yourself!
